At The Cusick Foundation Inc., our mission is simple yet profound — to support individuals and families in crisis by providing emergency essentials, mentorship, and compassionate guidance during their most difficult moments. Every day, we meet people who are navigating unimaginable hardship — families who have lost everything in a fire, those suffering from trauma or crisis, parents struggling to rebuild after tragedy, and neighbors who simply need a helping hand to restore hope.

We are guided by compassion, integrity, and transparency. Every contribution we receive is managed responsibly and directed toward programs that create measurable community impact. Through partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers, The Cusick Foundation Inc. can provide a bit of stability, access to resources, and a sense of belonging to those experiencing hardship.

We believe that healing begins with a safe space — a place where dignity, confidentiality, and care come together. That’s why in addition to creating an inventory of essential products for our clients, we are also working tirelessly to establish an office and community resource hub: a welcoming location where families can meet privately, receive immediate support, and access the resources they need to recover and rebuild. This dedicated space will allow us to store donated goods, meet confidentially with clients, and expand our outreach programs throughout Calvert County and the surrounding regions.
