Bringing Warmth, Hope, and Community This Holiday Season
This holiday season, The Cusick Foundation Inc. was honored to lead a Christmas Donation Drive in support of Safe Harbor Shelter for Women and Children, a vital resource providing safety, stability, and hope to women and children during times of crisis.
The holidays can be an especially difficult time for individuals and families who have been displaced or are navigating uncertainty. Our goal was simple but meaningful: to ensure that every woman and child at Safe Harbor felt remembered, supported, and cared for during the Christmas season.
A Community Effort Rooted in Compassion
Thanks to the generosity of our community, donors, friends, and supporters, we were able to collect a wide range of essential items to support Safe Harbor residents. Contributions included clothing, blankets, personal care items, household necessities, and thoughtful items intended to bring comfort and dignity during a challenging time.
All items received prior to 10:00 a.m. on December 23, 2025 were delivered in time for Christmas. Any additional items that arrived after that time are being carefully inventoried, with arrangements underway to ensure they are delivered promptly. We are also expecting a small number of additional donations scheduled to arrive in the coming days.
Every donation—large or small—played a role in making this drive successful.
More Than Donations — A Message of Support
This drive was about more than providing physical items. It was about sending a message: you are not alone, you are valued, and your community cares.
At The Cusick Foundation, we believe that moments of crisis are when compassion matters most. Partnering with Safe Harbor allowed us to extend that belief into action, supporting a shelter that works tirelessly to provide safety, advocacy, and healing for women and children rebuilding their lives.
With Gratitude
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, shared our posts, spread the word, or supported this drive in any way. Your generosity directly impacted lives and helped bring warmth and comfort to families during the holiday season.
Because of you, Christmas looked a little brighter for the women and children served by Safe Harbor.
Looking Ahead
The Cusick Foundation remains committed to supporting individuals and families during times of crisis through emergency assistance, essential resources, mentorship, and community partnerships. This Christmas Drive is one of many ways we strive to show up when it matters most.
